Remembrance

When we lose our much-loved cats it leaves a hole in our hearts.  Share a picture and memory of your Stray Cat Rescue kitty here, and remind yourself, and everyone else, about the joy and love they gave you!  Send us your pictures to [email protected] titled ‘Remembrance’ with a few words about your cat.

George:

Picture
"George (formally known as Franklin, as he was found on Franklin Avenue in Barton). He was a very chatty, beautiful boy. I'll always remember him walking through the paint tray, and moaning about his day."

- RIP George.

Piper:

Picture

"Before being rescued, Piper was found wandering in a wood with her siblings. We miss her greatly despite the fact she was only with us for a short time."

- RIP Piper.

Oscar:

Picture
"He was a gentle, kind and patient cat who helped our family through sickness and sorrow. We were so lucky that he came into our lives when he did, creating an Oscar shaped impression in all our hearts. He will always be missed and never forgotten." - Suzanne

- RIP Oscar.

Coco:

Picture
Coco was about 20 in this photo!
"We "chose" Coco from a litter of four, and met her within hours of being born. Coco was 24 years and 3 weeks old, before we had to make the heart-breaking decision to let her sleep. We miss her terribly, and have buried her ashes in the sunny spot where she spent many hours basking in the sun."
- RIP COCO.

Calliope:

Picture

"I was Callie’s third home and this is where she stayed until her body gave out.  Callie greeted everyone who came in and every lap belonged to her.  It’s not the same without being squashed under her weight every night and having her nose pressed to mine."

- RIP Calliope.
