Remembrance

When we lose our much loved cats it leaves a hole in our hearts.  Share a picture and memory of your Stray Cat Rescue cat and remind yourself and everyone else about the joy and love they gave you.  Send us your pictures to enquiries@straycatrescue.org.uk titled ‘Remembrance’ with a few words about how missed your kitty is.

George

Picture
George (Franklin as he was found in Franklin Avenue in Barton). He was a very chatty beautiful boy. Always remember him walking through the paint tray, moaning about his day.

Piper

Picture
Rescued wandering in a wood with her siblings, much missed even though she was only with us for a short time.

Coco

Picture
We "chose" Coco from a litter of four and saw her within hours of being born. Coco was 24 years and 3 weeks old, before we had to make the heart breaking decision to let her sleep. But she never had any illness, was pampered and led a very privileged life... We miss her terribly and have buried her ashes in a sunny spot where she spent many an hour basking in the sun. She was about 20 in this photo!

Calliope

Picture
Mine was Callie’s third home and this is where she stayed until her body gave out.  Callie greeted everyone who came in and every lap belonged to her.  It’s not the same without being squashed under her weight every night and having her nose pressed to mine.
